The ring road has been "do-it-yourself

I would like to point out that, as can be seen on the satellite image taken from Google Maps (like all the others that appear in the text), the highway No 9 and from Piacenza and the provincial road n. 359 to and from Salsomaggiore intersect only at the mouth of Trieste Via Via IV Novembre. So, in theory, a motorist from Salsomaggiore, Piacenza and direct, or vice versa, should go the route shown in yellow: Via Trieste, Via IV Novembre, Via Gramizzi, Via Emilia Ovest.
When I read or heard the ring road south, is always and only refers to the connection between the Via Emilia Est, at the height of Coduri, and the SP 359, the height of the Vaio, I think. I never heard even the slightest mention of the link between SP 359 Via Emilia, suggested that on the map with a double red arrow.

So it is natural that in the absence of proper urban planning, motorists have invented a bypass do-it-yourself ", which is indicated on the map below. To shorten the route and cut off a stretch of Via Trieste and a large piece of the ring road, just take Via Tasso at the point indicated in the map with the number 1, go straight until the roundabout, from which branches off Via Isonzo, take Via Piave also to achieve this and, through it, step 2, at the end of Via Gramizzi (see route marked by red arrows).

traffic bypass, not being able to travel that stretch of Via Tasso, is diverted from the recommended route on the map below, through a stretch of Via Galvani, Via Parini, until you reach Via Isonzo.

Via Galvani is a narrow road, is not normally used for transit purposes, except to those who live there. It is a "zone 30", even if the reports are not clear and are almost never met. As can be seen even by satellite (image below: Via Galvani is flanked by the red arrow), the residents will park cars on both sides and there maximum space for the passage of a vehicle at a time.

However, for two days a week for two months, or perhaps more, in 2008, Via Galvani is in fact a sudden and perhaps impossible for the nonexistent highway south of Bicester, with a continuous passage of vehicles in both directions.
There are other solutions? It can not be closed to traffic throughout the area in the days of the market and make it compulsory course "yellow" of a map? And, more generally, we can not tackle the problem of a link between more functional way of Salsomaggiore, Piacenza and Via Emilia towards? Of course you can
argue that a similar road to the red arrow I drew straight on the first map can never be built. And then there's the Stirone middle, with its park.

few days ago I found this picture which depicts a plowed field near the city.

I had taken in September 2007. In the background you can see the walls of the cemetery, past the row of trees bordering the railroad, the two towers and the bell tower of the Great Mother of God, not coming very well: it is a bit 'in the background. I found by accident this yellowed photos I printed myself, creating a sort of impressionistic effect "on Emanuelli. Looking at the map, if the wood is just that, the city seems to have very little.
